Celebrate the holidays at Prinsenhof

Prinsenhof Groningen is the perfect place to celebrate the holidays with your loved ones. We welcome you in one of our historic rooms in an unique environment, and of course in a Christmas atmosphere.

At our Brasserie we serve  a luxury Christmas brunch between 12.00 – 15.00 on both Christmas days. Of course it is also possible to have lunch and dinner as usual.

At fine dining restaurant Nassau you can enjoy an extensive and gastronomic menu. For the holidays our head chef Christian de Vries and chef Dion te Velde have created a special 7-course Experience Menu. If desired, this menu can be expanded with a selection of cheeses.

In addition we serve a 4-course Christmas lunch including a glass of Champagne, table water and coffee/tea with homemade friandises on Christmas day.

Brasserie

On both Christmas days between 12.00 - 15.00 we serve in our monumental monastery church a Christmas brunch including a glass of Cava or non-alcoholic aperitive, jus d'orange, coffee and tea. Reservations are possible untill 13.00.

Christmas brunch - € 52,50 per person
Children 3 till 11 year old - € 26,25 per child

Of course it is also possible to have lunch from our regular menu. Please note that lunch will not be served in our Brasserie, but in one of our other rooms.

For an a la carte dinner in our Brasserie it is possible to reserve from 17.30 on.

Restaurant Nassau

gastronomic lunch and dinner

On Christmas Eve and both Christmas days (Sunday till Tuesday) we serve at fine dining restaurant Nassau a special 7-course Experience Menu. If desired, this menu can be expanded with a selection of cheeses. We are happy to welcome you between 18.30 and 19.30.

7-course Christmas Experience Menu – € 105,00 per person.
8-course Christmas Experience Menu – € 122,00 per person.

On Christmas day we serve a 4-course Christmas lunch including a glass of Champagne, table water and coffee/tea with homemade friandises. We are happy to welcome you between 12.00 and 12.30. Lunch lasts until 15.30 at the latest.

4-course Christmas lunch – € 95,00 per person

At your request, sommelier Ronald Aikes-van Dijk can accompany your menu with matching wines from our acclaimed selection of top wines.
